Thin injection needles are used in the treatment and these needles do not contain drugs. The hardening of the muscle is tried to be removed by utilizing the mechanical effect of the needle. Which diseases is dry needle therapy used to treat?

Neck pain, back pain, low back pain, shoulder movement limitation and shoulder pain, myofascial pain syndrome, fibromyalgia syndrome, tennis and golfer's elbow, painful muscle spasms; pain caused by standing still in the same position (such as computer use), pain caused by muscle tension due to posture disorder or scoliosis; hand, elbow, shoulder, heel and hip tendonitis, sports injuries and rehabilitation, pain due to trigger points in the jaw joint, spinal pain after trauma. How is Dry Needle Treatment Performed?

In muscle stiffness, spasm and trigger points occur in the muscle; these are colloquially referred to as "ear pain". In dry needling, a needle is inserted into these pinches and waited for a few seconds; thus, it is aimed to dissolve the spasm and relax the trigger points. This method can be used safely and effectively to relieve trigger point activation. For dry needle therapy (IMS), needles of various lengths and very fine needles are used.
